Hello friends and family!

I left home on the 28th, so I’ve been training and doing mission work for a little over a week now! I have learned so much already about discipleship, spreading the gospel, and how to be a good team member.

I arrived in Costa Rica on Tuesday! My team and I are staying in and serving with the ministry base called Ocean’s Edge. This past week, we have been getting acquainted Ocean Edge’s ministry, the local church- Horizon Church, and the city of Jacó.

A few days ago, we did a prayer walk around Jacó, praying over the government, schools, hospital, and streets. We marveled at the beauty of Jacó and the ways God has grown the presence of Christian community and churches while also feeling the weight of the brokenness that exists here. Our host shared with us that 20 years ago, she could only find 2 or 3 Christians living in Jacó. Since then, churches have been established and people here have come to know the gospel! So despite the brokenness, there is immense hope here & expectation for how the Lord will move in the future!

As Christians, we bring the presence and light of Jesus wherever we go! Would you join my team & I in prayer over Jacó? 🙂

A BIG thank you to those who are praying and encouraging me always! And THANK YOU to all who have supported me!
